Founder, Tom Bayes

Born in the UK, Tom has excelled as a trainer, team leader, and manager since 2002. Upon graduating with honors in Marketing, he focused on overseeing experiential events in the UK and throughout Europe. Through various positions including Event Manager, Operations Manager, and Branding Manager, Tom refined the skills that ultimately elevated him to the role of Project Manager.

His dynamic networking abilities and marketing knowledge of exceeding customer needs facilitated the foundation of professional, robust, and meaningful relationships. Collaborating with clients spanning various industries, Tom has honed his expertise as a subject matter expert (SME) across a diverse range of products and services. Adapting standard operating procedures, and utilising impactful methodologies for training and cultivating skillsets.

Since 2017, Tom has resided in Tokyo, Japan as a Business Consultant, Coach, and Corporate Trainer. He has also fulfilled in-house roles curating programs as a Talent Development Manager, and dissipated guidance across five global locations as a Training & Development SME. This has broadened Mirador’s perspective and cultural understanding of the dynamically evolving global landscape. Tom has worked in partnership with stakeholders representing more than 50 nationalities.

A steadfast passion has consistently accompanied Tom throughout his career – Instructional design through understanding the audience needs. It is his and Mirador’s mission to craft practical, captivating, and participant-centric learning experiences.

Teaming up with top trainers worldwide, Tom is consistently driven to customise his extensive hands-on expertise spanning diverse global business sectors. Mirador will continue to assist business professionals of all communication levels and stages of their careers in obtaining their unique development goals.

When not in the office Tom can be found practicing his swing on Saitama’s golf courses.
